Come join us for a time of tending to and through our grief through creative expression, tending to grief is allowing our nervous system to acknowledge the loss which keeps us in defense and survival states and through that acknowledgment allowing our grief to alchemize back into life, creation and possibility.

Apparently there is a "crack in the magnetic field" so this is as brutiful (brutal and beautiful) a time as ever to come back to our grief.

In times like these I come back to Victor Frankl's book Man's Search for Meaning, it feels like the most honest voice, a person who survived a concentration camp, his voice feels most trustworthy, easier to listen to than some "the universe has your back" message, the quote that is holding me today is "what is to give light must endure burning."

So as we burn together on this planet, the two things that feel possible are grief and art. We will sit in our grief, not trying to push it away or resolve it, but allowing ourselves to be in it together and when it doesn't make sense we will create.

It could be collaging with old magazines, or sewing a scrap of fabric, you don't need any fancy supplies, a piece of junk mail and a pen, maybe some scissors and glue or an old pairless sock and a needle and thread, we will grieve and we will create.

Supportive resources:

- Peter Levine on Sadness and Grief

- Grief is the Medicine with Malkia Devich Cyril

- Survival Is A Promise with Alexis Pauline Gumbs

- This is Body Grief by Jayne Mattingly

- Man's Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl

So looking forward to being in creative community with you as we tend to our grief! xo, z

Interested in learning more about coaching with me, the SSP, RRP, the Work or just talking about ET's, esoteric ideas or anything else? book a free inquiry call here, I have loads of openings right now!

The big nervous system work online course (not the SSP or coaching sessions) that has an overview of most of what I've learned in this life is available for 50% off ongoing. You can use coupon code: HALFOFF. Feel free to share <3

Feel life is too overwhelming to even take care of daily needs? Struggling with suicidal thinking or self harm urges? I cannot recommend any modality more than DBT. I have found a legitimate DBT resource that offers online live classes with replay available for the very low price of $19/month!! You can even try it out for a week for free! I have no affiliation with them, I've been taking my classes through DBT Path for the past decade and while I adore them and think they are the best DBT class money can buy, I know there are people who are not able to or ready to invest that much so I was thrilled when I came across Jones Mindful Living. Most cities have DBT classes that are covered by insurance. If you want help finding a DBT resource, please email me and I'd love to support you in finding something that is a good fit for you.

love you! xo, z

What are you doing for fun? One of my favorite fun and social activities is being a guest on podcasts. It is super ideal for my Autistic wiring, being expected and encouraged to deep dive on topics I am passionate about and welcome to do some monologuing, sign me up any day! And podcasters are always just such quirky and interesting people, it is my favorite social activity, one on one, they've signed up to hear all my stuff so I can't be too much (although yesterday I was on one where I...

Grief art is cancelled today <3 something came up with my kiddo <3 Who is in charge anymore? Well, I don't know how you all are, but it's been a weird time for me. Another wave of realizing that despite all the layers of following the external authority that I've shed, there are still parts of me that are sad about realizing no one is "good" in a total way, no one is here to save us, no one ever has been. I've really been appreciating Prentis Hemphil lately and this recent episode meant a lot...
