Experiencers Unite - meet baby Juni!

Meet baby Juni!
I have just discovered the magical (and free!) Finch app! It is kind of like a Tamagotchi but with an aspect of daily logging for whatever you want and a library full of nervous system activities from breathing to stretching to journaling, and it's SO cute! Check out my Juni, they've bought all those cute things at the store with points we've received from doing things like eating three times a day and journaling about my feelings and doing some stretching while not leaving the couch! I'm pretty excited about it and feels like a much easier option for folks than entering in their changes to sleep, eating, digestion and how they interacted with the daily 3 than a google sheet!
It's super cute and a great place to be when you get the urge to be on your phone! I've learned several new stretches and breathing exercises, the one thing that is a bit lacking is the creativity area, but I just created my own goal for that one! If you are looking for easy ideas for unskilled creativity, here is a playlist! Here is one of my favorites!
I love BK but this episode was especially fun, hearing her riff with someone who sees themself as a comedian! Enjoy! If you want to suffer less, the Work is my best recommendation, you can listen to Katie take folks through it on her podcast and you can reach out to me if you'd like to go through it together, it is the most effective tool I have found to find peace in a chaotic moment! Feel free to learn more here and book a session to do the Work together anytime, you don't have to be an existing SSP client, the Work can be done by anyone at any phase. Want a free inquiry call to hear more first? Book one here!

Meet Anna, one of my favorite artists! She has an instagram, a YouTube channel, a book, cuuuute merch, a calendar and a LOT of wisdom, love, realness and humor to offer us (everything is @akprzy). I really appreciate Anna because she talks really openly about how tough it is even with so many tools and lots of years of recovery from disordered eating. I recently had a chance to get to know my ED part better and to take care of them in a new way. I realized that I spent most of my life either asking them to take charge and lead the way or locking them in a dungeon and blaming them for being "bad" and making sure they knew that they were never welcome to return. It takes a ton of energy to resist and like the annoyingly rhymy quote says,"what we resist, persists."
Her new book is bringing me a lot of joy, I made magnets out of the stickers! And her Friday morning YouTubes make me very happy too, as does all her content on Instagram!
She talks and lives body neutrality, not needing to feel dynamite about your body or to be shaming it into submission, but just to let it be there without it taking up so much of your time/space/energy. You'd be surprised (or maybe not) how much folks struggle to eat consistently everyday. The nervous system depends on consistent calories but for many of us it is really hard to eat consistently. This is because of a mixture of living in a body shaming , restriction praising culture and the experience of being in long term functional freeze which reduces appetite. And then for many of us, you add in neurodivergent food sensitivities and chronic digestive issues related to the nervous system and eating gets real complicated and scary.
I've put together a playlist of videos about different resources, ideas, and information on things like the Bikini Industrial Complex, the BMI (both articles by Emily Nagoski) who wrote Burnout, a great book about many topics including the history of anti-fatness. You can find the principles of a concept called Health at Every Size here. And I made a little video summarizing some highlights here. This is a topic that runs deep and can feel very threatening to unpack. Slowly and with respect and compassion, we can begin to offer ourselves other sources of information that may allow us to see that the monster our parts have been protecting us from were made up as a way to control us all. This can be a complex topic, and you are always in charge, so take what you like and leave the rest!
Hi friends, some of you may have heard Jessa Reed talk with Nicole of Jumpsuit Agency recently, she started a free patreon and there are some cool things happening there, I'm doing a free nervous system class and I'd love to see you there! Every other Monday at 12:30pm EST for six sessions live and replay available, we have two classes left but the replays are available for all the classes once you sign up.
Feel free to invite friends, I'll be going through the basics (we've had two classes already, but you can access the replays):
Polyvagal Nervous System Overview
Autonomic Mapping : understanding your unique nervous system language
SOS method (sense, optimize, self-inquiry)
Effective Mobilization
Radical Acceptance, Guidance, Inspiration and Creativity
Interested in learning more about the SSP, RRP, the Work or just talking about ET's, esoteric ideas or anything else? book a free inquiry call here, I have lots of openings right now!
I'm continuing to offer the big nervous system work online course (not the SSP or coaching sessions) that has an overview of most of what I've learned in this life for "pay what you want" ongoing. You can use coupon code: ECLIPSE100 which will make it free and then you can venmo me anything you want to donate @gazitchayankosi. Feel free to share <3
Feel life is too overwhelming to even take care of daily needs? Struggling with suicidal thinking or self harm urges? I cannot recommend any modality more than DBT. I have found a legitimate DBT resource that offers online live classes with replay available for the very low price of $19/month!! You can even try it out for a week for free! I have no affiliation with them, I've been taking my classes through DBT Path for the past decade and while I adore them and think they are the best DBT class money can buy, I know there are people who are not able to or ready to invest that much so I was thrilled when I came across Jones Mindful Living. Most cities have DBT classes that are covered by insurance. If you want help finding a DBT resource, please email me and I'd love to support you in finding something that is a good fit for you.
What are you doing for fun? One of my favorite fun and social activities is being a guest on podcasts. It is super ideal for my Autistic wiring, being expected and encouraged to deep dive on topics I am passionate about and welcome to do some monologuing, sign me up any day! And podcasters are always just such quirky and interesting people, it is my favorite social activity, one on one, they've signed up to hear all my stuff so I can't be too much (although yesterday I was on one where I...
Grief art is cancelled today <3 something came up with my kiddo <3 Who is in charge anymore? Well, I don't know how you all are, but it's been a weird time for me. Another wave of realizing that despite all the layers of following the external authority that I've shed, there are still parts of me that are sad about realizing no one is "good" in a total way, no one is here to save us, no one ever has been. I've really been appreciating Prentis Hemphil lately and this recent episode meant a lot...
